Women's College Basketball: Rainy River downs Raiders

INTERNATIONAL FALLS—Tanisha Beetso poured in 21 points and the Central Lakes College Raiders played their second straight game shorthanded in a 74-69 Northern Division loss to Rainy River Saturday.

The Raiders dressed just seven players, but Sam Schimpp returned with 12 points. Liz Anderson provided 14 points and Aleaia Lupa totalled 11.

The loss dropped the Raiders to 4-5 in division play and in fifth place—a half game behind Mesabi Range for the fourth and final playoff spot.

The Voyageurs completed a season sweep of the Raiders and sit in first place in division play with an 8-1 record.
